1. ELIGIBILITY:  Participants that are eligible for the contest prize will be a member of clergy from any denomination of Christian church within the United States of America. Participants must meet the general requirements of the retreat, including agreement to liability waiver, deposit against damages, excessive cleaning and property rules.  The party who makes the nomination for the potential contest winner must have ‘liked’ the Facebook page or ‘follow’ the Instagram account for the Retreat at Phoenix Nest.

2. Clergy winner may use this time as a sabbatical and increase the length of stay at the regular lodging rate, if accommodations are available.

3. PRIZE: There are four (4) prizes, two for a nominated member of clergy, two for the person that nominated the winning member of clergy.  Prize consists of a four-night stay at one of the cabins at the Retreat at Phoenix Nest and a sunset dinner, this has no cash value option.  The nights must be used consecutively.  Winner may share the accommodations with up to three other individuals from their immediate household. 

4. Nominating winner is limited to the prize listed above.

 

Prize is non-transferrable and has no equivalent cash value- the prize is limited to access to the retreat accommodations and on-site activities. Retreat at Phoenix Nest is located at 1415 County Road 405A, Llano TX, 78643.

• EXCLUSSIONS and LIMITATIONS: Travel to and from the retreat; meals, outside of the one sunset dinner; recreational activities outside of the retreat, such as kayak rental at the nearby river; any other service or amenity not expressly noted in section II of this document.

 

Unfortunately, the retreat is in a country setting and was built during a time that accessibility to all persons was not fully considered.   Guests that have trouble walking on uneven surfaces, need assistance, accessible showers or toilets will not find appropriate accommodations at the retreat.  The retreat will add these accommodations to future additions.

Nominees and Nominators are a paired entry, therefore, if either party opts out of the giveaway, another winner will be chosen and no prize or award will be made to the original participant(s). Winners are not obligated to visit or stay at the Retreat at Phoenix Nest.

 

Winners that do not acknowledge acceptance of their prize within 5 calendar day of initial notice, will forfeit the prize and another winner may be selected.

1. CONTEST PERIOD:  Contest will run from 12:01 AM June 23, 2022 to 11:59 PM July 14, 2022.  Winner will be chosen by July 21, 2022 and notified via email that same day.

 

Prize must be used by November 14, 2022.
